Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Manager to oversee approximately 600,000 sq ft of commercial office space in Des Moines and nearby suburbs. You will balance tenant-owner relations, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management to protect value and align with owner objectives.

Key duties include budgeting, vendor oversight, lease review, and long-range capital planning, with a focus on safety, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or better in Business, Economics or Real Estate.
• Real Estate license is required.
• Minimum three years of experience in property management, preferably at Ryan Properties.
• Certifications such as RPA/CPM/CCIM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets for owner approval.
• Monitor bidding, and supervise vendors and subcontractors.
• Schedule property inspections to identify risk and improvement opportunities.
• Meet monthly reporting deadlines with narratives and variance explanations.
• Create opportunities to increase revenue and protect assets.
• Manage team activities to support operations.
• Review leases and prepare related documents.
• Maintain tenant and stakeholder satisfaction with building principals.
