Job summary
Compass is seeking a strategic Senior Manager of Real Estate Lease Administration to oversee a large national portfolio and the offshore lease administration team, ensuring accuracy in rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, and lease compliance. You will lead process standardization, develop KPIs, and partner with Real Estate colleagues to deliver reliable reporting, audits, and timely lease abstractions.
The role is based in New York City with options at Madison, NJ; strong Excel/Costar experience
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in lease administration.
- Experience with United States lease practices, terms and conditions.
- CoStar experience a plus.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly rent roll preparation in line with lease provisions.
- Evaluate operating expense and tax reconciliation statements.
- Communicate with landlords regarding lease payments and charges.
- Prepare reports of findings and ensure accurate credits and charges.
- Oversee CAM reconciliations and ensure adherence to standards.
- Support audits and recommend actions for recovery of discrepancies.
- Create training procedures for operating expense reconciliation.
- Drive timely and accurate lease abstractions to meet KPIs.
- Coach teammates and share knowledge across functions.
