Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Real Estate Manager to drive site qualification and acquisition strategies. You will coordinate with operations, fuels management, and construction teams to assess and negotiate leases or purchases for new sites.

This role requires travel and collaboration with brokers, attorneys, and government entities. The position emphasizes financial planning, market analysis, and due diligence across multiple sites with a focus on retail/fuel operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in General Commercial Brokerage, Development, Finance or Corporate Real Estate Management with emphasis in Commercial/Retail/Fuel/Fast Food/C-Store industries, including minimum of one year in management.
• Willingness to travel primarily in three states, including overnight travel (approx. 50%).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a busy environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provides data and guidance for Financial Analyst to run financial models to qualify new sites for lease or purchase.
• Negotiates purchase contracts with sellers and leases with landlords.
• Prepares real estate proposals and contracts for management approval.
• Assists in coordinating with architects, engineers, attorneys and other consultants.
• Maintains staff and oversees training, coaching and performance appraisals.
• Achieves financial objectives by budgeting and variances analysis.
