Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Financial Analyst to support site qualification and decision-making for lease or purchase opportunities. The role involves building financial models in coordination with operations and fuels teams and negotiating purchase contracts with sellers and landlords.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field and 3+ years in commercial brokerage, development, finance, or corporate real estate. Travel across three states is expected (50%).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field preferred.
Three years of experience in General Commercial Brokerage, Development, Finance or Corporate Real Estate Management with emphasis in Commercial/Retail/Fuel/Fast Food/C-Store industries or more; including minimum of one year of management responsibility.
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Mapping and Demographic software desirable and Word preferred.
Willingness to travel primarily in three states, including some overnight travel (50% travel). Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Provides data and guidance for Financial Analyst to run financial models for site qualification and lease/purchase decisions.
Negotiates purchase contracts with sellers and leases with landlords.
Prepares real estate proposals and contracts for management approval; guides market tours for bulk acquisition projects.
Assists due diligence, entitlement activity, and regulatory processes; coordinates with architects and engineers.
Manages budgeting, scheduling expenditures, and variance analysis to meet financial objectives.
Maintains staff by recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating performance.
