HRM Concrete, LLC in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to manage daily scheduling and the delivery of ready-mix concrete. The role focuses on proactive planning, minimizing downtime, and ensuring accurate, achievable schedules for the next day.

You will coordinate trucks and drivers, communicate with customers, and adjust plans in real time to maintain dependable service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, decisive under pressure, and committed to ownership of the dispatch

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching for high-volume transportation environments.
• Ability to coordinate crews, trucks, and plant resources.
• Proven communication with drivers, customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and plan next-day operations to ensure achievable delivery.
• Confirm next-day orders with customers and contacts.
• Verify start times, quantities, pour rates, and delivery requirements.
• Identify scheduling conflicts before they arise.
• Build efficient delivery schedules based on trucks, capacity, locations.
• Dispatch trucks and maintain driver and customer communication.
• Monitor truck availability, cycle times, and job progress.
• Adjust schedules for weather, traffic, or changes.
• Coordinate with maintenance for downed trucks.
• Ensure adequate staffing with Driver Foreman and HR.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely updates.
