Formulated Solutions in Largo, FL is seeking a RAW MATERIAL CATEGORY MANAGER to lead strategic sourcing and procurement for all raw materials. You will build strong supplier relationships, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive cost savings, reliability, and innovation across material categories.

The role requires 5–10 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of procurement experience or equivalent.
• Strong sense of urgency and improvement/quality driven.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with USP/NF/Food Grade chemicals is a plus.
• Procurement certifications CPM, CPP, CPPM, CPSM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes multi-year category strategies to create value and ensure reliable supply.
• Partners on new projects to leverage supplier innovation.
• Negotiates price, terms and service levels to meet business goals.
• Negotiates NDAs and supply agreements with key FS terms.
• Provides spend forecasts and tracks price variations.
• Communicates price changes and impacts.
• Optimizes cash by extending terms and reducing lead times.
• Negotiate and track vendor credits and rebates.
• Establishes supplier relationships aligned with company goals.
