Job summary

Talentify is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing for raw materials and indirect supplies. You will build strong supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and oversee performance and compliance across manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes cost management, risk reduction, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree and 5–8 years' procurement experience with 3 years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5–8 years procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• 3 years leadership/ supervisory experience.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials and indirect supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Lead supplier bidding, RFQ, RFP, and contract negotiations.
• Analyze market trends and support sourcing decisions.
• Establish long-term supply agreements balancing cost, quality, delivery and risk.
• Manage supplier performance with KPIs; conduct reviews and audits.
• Coordinate procurement for plant shutdowns, projects, and maintenance.
• Identify cost-reduction initiatives and monitor procurement metrics.
• Ensure compliance with policies, records, and ERP system usage.
