Job summary

Rexel USA, a major electrical distributor, seeks a Quotations Specialist to join the Platt team in Boise, ID. The role focuses on building pricing positions for bids, reviewing bid packages, and supplying product knowledge to customers and vendors.

You’ll work with Outside Sales and branches to shape proposal strategy and ensure compliant, compelling quotations. Responsibilities include formatting requests, issuing RFQs, negotiating prices where appropriate, and increasing business using digital

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid package and requirements including technical, commercial, and documentation.
• Work with Outside Sales or branches to discuss strategy for each proposal request.
• Format customer requests into a standardized bid spreadsheet.
• Issue RFQs to vendors and assemble bid tabulations for review.
