Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Quotations Specialist to join our Carrollton, TX team. The role focuses on building relationships with customers and vendors to secure pricing for bids, reviewing bid packages, and formulating project quotations with solid product knowledge.

You’ll work with Outside Sales/branches, format data for bid reviews, and prepare final proposals while potentially negotiating pricing and ensuring all documentation is complete.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred.
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid package and requirements (technical, commercial, documentation).
• Work with Outside Sales or branch teams on strategy for proposals.
• Format customer requests into a standardized bid spreadsheet for review.
• Issue RFQs to vendors and compile bid tabulations.
• Submit final proposal with documentation.
• May negotiate pricing or offer substitute products when appropriate.
• Maintain product knowledge through meetings and training.
