Job summary

Aureos is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support a growing business with a strong focus on commercial performance. You will work with the contract delivery team to safeguard profitability, cash flow and cost control across schemes.

Your role includes reviewing budgets, managing the commercial calendar, and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting. You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to maximise value, manage risks, and support effective contract

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management on construction projects.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to communicate with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Undertake weekly cost-to-complete/budget reviews with contract delivery teams.
• Ensure draft/outline CTCs are completed via communication with Project Managers.
• Maintain deadlines in line with the monthly commercial calendar.
• Attend internal and external commercial review meetings.
• Provide commercial challenge to contract delivery teams.
• Upload documentation in line with business requirements.
• Review site records and provide feedback on variances.
• Attend project handover meetings.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend site progress meetings.
• Produce management information (Provisions, Cash flows, Applications).
• Manage Risk Registers and identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Monitor budgets to ensure costs are not exceeded.
• Manage subcontract accounts from procurement to final account.
• Assist with evaluation and submission of subcontractor claims for variations.
