Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) is hiring for a Strategic Pursuits role in the US Public Sector.

You will work with DoW Sales teams to develop a multi-year pipeline, craft bid strategies, and prepare technical solutions and RFx responses for opportunities and IDIQ contracts with DoW and APN partners. You will close deals with field and partner sales teams, enhance capture acumen, and handle classified materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on, full lifecycle BD/Capture experience.
• Demonstrable ability to win IT services or solutions related awards valued at $25M+ in the U.S. DoW market.
• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year pipeline of cloud-related opportunities.
• Oversee bid strategies, proposal approaches, and technical solutions for RFx and IDIQ Contracts.
• Assist with written proposals for RFx and IDIQ contracts for customers and APN partners.
• Close business with field and partner sales teams and improve RFx responses.
• Engage with AWS Public Sector stakeholders to respond to RFx opportunities.
