Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a Pursuit Strategist to join the Brand, Marketing and Business Development team in the United States. You’ll influence strategy, craft compelling narratives, and collaborate with leaders across marketing, business development, and design disciplines to win complex projects.

You’ll translate strategic marketing instincts into clear pursuit narratives, guiding senior teams through workshops and interviews while mentoring marketing professionals across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience required; 10+ preferred.
• Experience in a proposal management role influencing strategy and content for a professional services firm.
• Experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency with InDesign, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for the firm’s most significant and complex pursuits.
• Develop action plans with decision-maker profiles, competitor analyses and market research.
• Create win plans with client issues, features, benefits and proof statements.
• Facilitate strategy sessions/workshops to drive client-focused pursuit strategies.
• Ensure readability and messaging of pursuit-related materials and graphics.
