Job Title: Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned categories/suppliers to optimize quality, delivery, cost, and risk, while maintaining a reliable supply of assigned commodities.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, product, operations, purchasing, and finance to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals and priorities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and consistency of supply.
- Continuously monitor market trends, negotiate terms and pricing agreements, and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Implement best practices to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to mitigate potential disruptions such as geopolitical, economic, or environmental factors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards. Drive sustainability initiatives, such as responsible sourcing and environmentally friendly practices.
- Oversee the negotiation and management of supplier contracts, including terms and conditions, service level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Utilize data‑driven insights to make informed sourcing decisions. Implement analytics tools and KPIs to track and measure sourcing performance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the sourcing function. Implement best practices and drive innovation.

Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year college or university.
