Job summary

Mach Industries, a defense technology company in Huntington Beach, seeks a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to execute day-to-day procurement tasks in our ERP, create and track POs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery for production and engineering programs.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in procurement operations and supplier management, and familiarity with PLM/ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant supply chain experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in procurement operations and supplier management.
• Knowledge of ERP, PLM, MES and ability to analyze data.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) within the ERP system based on demand signals and internal requests.
• Track PO status, ensure supplier acknowledgement and on-time delivery.
• Execute order management activities including reschedules, cancellations, and expediting.
• Follow up with suppliers to monitor progress and resolve delivery issues.
• Support 'Clear to Build' reviews by confirming material availability against program requirements.
• Maintain procurement records for traceability and audit readiness.
• Assist in onboarding new suppliers and setting up vendor data with supply managers.
• Collaborate with receiving and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Communicate with engineering, planning, and production to align priorities and material needs.
• Contribute to procurement process improvements and supply chain dashboards.
