Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field.
• 5+ years in heavy industrial/manufacturing procurement.
• 7+ years of purchasing experience.
• Strong project management and cost-savings experience.
• Experience bidding and contracting material and service purchases.
• Vendor sourcing and supplier evaluation experience.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook and purchasing software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Purchasing and Stores departments.
• Develop short- and long-term procurement strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and capital purchases.
• Maintain supplier relationships and contract terms.
• Ensure compliance with policies, ISO, SOX, FSC.
• Manage mill's leasing program with relevant teams.
• Support cost savings through meals and consolidations.
• Provide local liaison with energy procurement.
