Responsibilities

• Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders; develop and maintain related documentation.
• Manage vendor relations, including vendor report cards and performance.
• Evaluate suppliers for material, service, performance, and price; qualify new suppliers.
• Maintain inventory of production materials and set stock reorder quantities.
• Act as subject matter expert on purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Supervise assigned staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
