Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
• Exemplary Customer Service skills.
• PC and Microsoft Office skills; must be able to learn accounting software systems.

Aufgaben

• Procures goods and services according to the company's policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Confer with staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve undelivered goods issues.
• Supports SpectronRx leadership to maintain inventory levels.
• Assess suppliers based on price, reliability, capability and transaction history.
• Negotiate volume and cash discounts with vendors and other available discounts.
• Ensure purchasing documents are complete with terms and conditions.
• Maintain pricing histories and vendor records.
• May assist Accounting in absence on AP and AR.
• Identify and determine Purchasing Department quality improvements.
• Manage Purchasing Staff to ensure knowledge and execution of Company Purchasing Systems.
• Other related duties as assigned.
