Job summary

Hendrickson in Woodridge, IL is seeking a Purchasing Process Coordinator to join its Purchasing / Supply Chain team. The role supports efficient operation through administration of purchasing processes, data management, reporting, supplier communications, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will develop and maintain departmental systems, provide admin support, and perform commodity buyer responsibilities with guidance from purchasing leadership, gaining exposure to supplier management,

Qualifications

• BS in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of administrative experience in a purchasing environment or related field.
• Excellent PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle commodity buyer responsibilities for intercompany purchases and assigned suppliers/commodities with guidance.
• Develop and execute commodity strategies, contracts, and analyze market trends.
• Perform supplier management including performance reviews and responding to price changes.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department to ensure efficient operations.
• Review and maintain purchasing tracking documents and ERP data accuracy.
• Coordinate monthly supplier price list uploads and ensure pricing integrity.
• Run and distribute recurring purchasing reports and coordinate supplier communications.
