Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience as a buyer or planner in manufacturing; international sourcing a plus.
• Proficient with procurement software and ERP systems (MS Dynamics/Business Central a plus).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet production goals.
• Forecast demand and determine optimal inventory levels with internal stakeholders.
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts for timely delivery.
• Conduct market research on pricing and supplier performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and address issues.
• Maintain records of procurement activities and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock while minimising costs and downtime.
• Collaborate with production to create and maintain schedules.
• Coordinate with logistics, finance, and QA to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement inventory controls including cycle counts and audits.
• Stay updated on regulations and procurement best practices.
