Job summary

You will transform processes, automate reporting, and partner with operations to drive lean improvements that impact cost and performance. The role demands a track record of leadership in manufacturing accounting, expertise in GAAP, cost and inventory accounting, and the ability to implement ERP improvements with Dynamics GP or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CMA certification a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, TPS, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong inventory, cost accounting, and GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytics mindset; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Own month-end close, GAAP reporting, internal controls, and financial accuracy.
• Champion Lean Accounting and move toward value stream costing.
• Identify waste and bottlenecks; implement automation and AI tools.
• Partner with operations, manufacturing, and supply chain for inventory accuracy and production reporting.
• Optimize ERP processes and reporting within Dynamics GP or similar systems.
• Deliver financial insights to support operational decision-making and growth.
