Job summary

KPS Global in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Manager of Purchasing to join the Supply Chain Group. This position is responsible for management and coordination of Purchasing activities in support of the department and company's objectives, including supplier management, pricing negotiations, and on-hand materials control to meet production schedules.

You will build strong supplier relationships, focus on long-term supplier agreements, supplier quality and accountability metrics, and assist R&D

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for management and coordination of Purchasing activities in support of the department and company's objectives.
• Manage supplier accounts, negotiate and communicate pricing, quality and service concerns.
• Improve management and execution of on-hand sourced materials to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Build strong supplier relationships between buyer/supplier including relationships within all manufacturing facilities.
• Strategically focus on long-term supplier agreements, supplier quality, supplier accountability performance metrics, new supplier development and support R&D.
