Job summary

KPS Global in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Manager of Purchasing to lead and coordinate Purchasing activities in support of production schedules and customer demand.

The role focuses on supplier accounts, pricing, quality and service, and building long-term supplier agreements, with attention to delivery performance and supplier performance metrics.

You will collaborate with manufacturing facilities and R&D to drive cost savings and improve procurement processes.

KPS Global is looking for a Manager of Purchasing, to join the Supply Chain Group.

This position is responsible for management and coordination of Purchasing activities in support of the department and company's objectives. Manage supplier accounts, negotiate and communicate pricing, quality and service concerns. Improve management and execution of on-hand sourced materials to meet production schedules and customer demand. Build strong supplier relationships between buyer/supplier including relationships within all manufacturing facilities. In addition to the tactical Purchasing side, this role will strategically focus on long-term supplier agreements, supplier quality, supplier accountability performance metrics (on-time delivery, etc.), new supplier development and support R&D.
