Job summary

Shoppa’s Material Handling in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage day-to-day purchasing for direct and indirect materials, create POs, monitor deliveries, and support supplier performance.

You will collaborate with Parts, Service, Rental, Used Equipment, Fleet, and Sales to ensure material availability, analyze PPV, and drive cost savings; a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain and 2–4 years of procurement experience are required, with ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years purchasing or procurement experience in a multi-departmental environment.
• ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Experience with procurement analytics and reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and timely purchase orders for direct and indirect materials and services.
• Monitor open POs to identify delays and mitigate impact on availability.
• Communicate with suppliers to meet delivery commitments.
• Analyze purchase price variances and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain purchasing data integrity within ERP; collaborate on KPI reporting.
