Job summary

Sunseeker Property Service is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement of materials across steel, polymers, and related MRO items. You will ensure timely purchases, maintain stock levels, and qualify suppliers per corporate directives.

Lead and train the purchasing staff, develop cost-saving strategies, negotiate multi-year contracts, monitor market indexes, and mitigate supplier risk while upholding ESG standards. Travel is under 10% and the position is fully on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply management, business or related.
• Five years' experience in supply management, preferably in an automotive or metal fabrication industry.
• Experience of supervising supply management staff.
• Experience using ERP software.
• Print reading.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategy for distinct commodities including steel, polymers, and packaging.
• Conduct cost analysis quarterly and monitor indices to manage price risk.
• Source suppliers, RFQ evaluation, ensure tooling and quality standards.
• Define supplier tooling terms, PPAP signoffs, and lifecycle management.
• Negotiate multi-year contracts with pricing, terms, and delivery.
• Mitigate supplier risk and oversee ESG compliance.
