Job summary

Sunseeker Property Service is seeking a Senior Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing function, align with forecasting and inventory plans, and serve as player-coach for the team. You will manage vendor relationships, quality standards, and cost controls while executing established policies.

Responsibilities include directing a buyers team, handling high‑volume periods, negotiating with vendors, integrating with Design, Product Development, and Sales, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing, consumer goods, or gift industries.
• Proven experience managing people while handling purchasing responsibilities.
• Global sourcing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and develop a team of buyers with full authority for personnel decisions.
• Provide day-to-day coaching, training, and hands-on support to team members.
• Manage complex purchasing tasks and participate in placing orders, expediting shipments, and resolving shortages.
• Negotiate with vendors to maximize quality while controlling costs and maintain supplier relationships.
• Develop and manage purchasing processes including RFP, RFQ, bid processes, and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Sales, Inventory Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies.
