Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 4–6 years of direct and relevant work experience.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills; excellent written and oral communication; interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team; proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with Client Corporation.
• Managing relationships with assigned suppliers.
• Providing a continuous supply of competitively priced products on a regular and timely basis.
• Negotiating with suppliers for each assigned product category and developing supply matrices for best landed cost at distribution centers.
• Negotiating and executing terms of agreement between CLIENT and suppliers for new and existing products.
• Creating and capturing pricing provisions into contract exhibits and pricing reviews.
• Monitoring pricing compliance and ensuring transparency of modifications and discrepancies.
• Developing objectives for assigned product categories and monitoring vendor capacity/distribution capabilities.
• Conducting regular performance, business and financial reviews of suppliers with active agreements or potential new suppliers.
• Coordinating with Promotions Planning to ensure product rollout or inventory depletion is effective.
• Creating production schedules for promotional and new product activity and monitoring supplier production weekly.
• Communicating marketing activities to suppliers and supporting business needs.
