Job summary

Toll Brothers in Lake Oswego, Oregon is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee contracting trade partners for labor and materials, on-site five days per week.

You will negotiate costs, manage contracts, and coordinate with Operations to optimize value engineering and SKU availability while supporting national cost-savings initiatives. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of contracting experience are preferred; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or Supply Chain Management preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of contracting/negotiating building materials experience in residential construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting/Contracting of trade categories for the division.
• Bid, negotiate, and approve trade partner contracts with Purchasing Director.
• Manage contract maintenance and scopes of work updates.
• Coordinate with Operations on value engineering and SKU optimization.
• Conduct industry benchmarking studies and financial analyses of contracts.
• Analyze total spend by trade category and supplier to identify savings opportunities.
• Facilitate trade partner relationships and ensure cost effectiveness.
