Job summary

Toll Brothers seeks an on-site Assistant Purchasing Manager in Houston, TX. You will contract trade partners for labor and materials, negotiate costs, and support cost-savings initiatives with the National Purchasing team.

Responsibilities include budgeting, evaluating trade contracts, and ensuring alignment with national guidelines. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience is required; on-site work five days a week and a strong emphasis on analytics and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or extensive residential homebuilding experience.
• Minimum 3 years contracting and pricing experience for building materials.
• MS Excel proficiency and ability to learn new software (E1/BuildPro).
• Preferred: residential construction experience.
• Preferred: Supply Chain certification; Energy Star knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting/Contracting of trade categories in the Division.
• Bid, negotiate, and approve trade contracts in partnership with division Operations.
• Analyze total spend by trade category and identify savings opportunities.
• Develop SKU specs and ensure alignment with national/regional agreements.
• Manage trade partner relationships and performance.
• Support monthly budget analysis and price change reporting.
