Job summary

Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, seeks aPurchasing Manager in Pittsburgh, PA to lead end-to-end procurement for raw materials, equipment, and services. You will partner with Operations to align purchasing with forecast demand and manage supplier performance, cost, and delivery.

Travel up to 10% domestically is expected. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in procurement within manufacturing, plus experience in negotiations, contracts, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for raw materials, supplies, capital equipment, and services.
• Drive cost, quality, and delivery performance; manage expediting and past-due resolutions.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships; manage supplier RMA processes.
• Coordinate with Operations to align purchasing with forecast demand and inventory targets.
• Support DFARs, Conflict Minerals compliance, and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
