Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with ERP system(s).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase production materials and manage supplier relationships under the Director of Purchasing.
• Coordinate all aspects of commodities assigned and expedite materials.
• Assist in obtaining quotations, following up on orders, maintaining files, and emailing supplier reports.
• Purchase non-inventoried items via the PO requisition system and manage consignment programs.
• Correct invoicing inconsistencies and report major irregularities to the Director of Purchasing.
• Look for ways to reduce total cost of acquisition through efficiencies and supplier management.
