Job summary

The Conrad Company, located in York, PA, is seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Specialist to join PennAir facility's supply chain team. The role focuses on sourcing, purchasing and ERP/MRP optimization to support manufacturing and distribution operations.

Responsibilities include daily purchasing activities, supplier management, expediting, and driving cost savings. Candidates should have strong ERP/MRP experience, particularly with Acumatica, and a collaborative, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in distribution/manufacturing purchasing/planning roles.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge; Acumatica ERP/MRP experience is desirable.
• Ability to improve workflows for purchase order management, material planning and replenishment.
• Demonstrates leadership potential and collaborative team mindset.
• Understanding of supply chain KPIs and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing, quoting, purchasing and order acknowledgement daily.
• Review ERP/MRP system and replenish processes.
• Manage suppliers; monitor on-time delivery, quality, cost and lead time.
• Expedite as necessary; negotiate for cost savings.
• Plan inventory and optimize replenishment levels.
• Update ERP supplier and pricing master data.
• Drive cost savings through alternative sourcing and bulk purchases.
• Support inventory obsolescence management and turns.
• Assist business units with material planning and forecasting.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to improve inventory, distribution and production orders.
• Implement new workflows and processes for inventory management.
