Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing or accounting role.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
• Familiar with database systems and willing to learn other accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Obtain approvals from authorized representatives before processing purchase orders and maintenance requests.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of requisitions and maintenance requests.
• Evaluate vendor quotes to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and present quotes to senior management.
• Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed.
• Organize purchasing files, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Assist AR and AP functions and provide backup during staff absences.
