Job summary

Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa is seeking a senior hotel purchasing professional to manage all food, beverage and retail procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory controls in line with brand standards. You will oversee vendor selection, cost analysis, month-end processes, and price protection while collaborating with operations to protect guest experience and profitability.

The role requires supervisory experience and strong financial acumen, with ability to navigate complex data

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or, at least 5 years of progressive experience in hotel accounting, Purchasing or a related field.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly; evaluate and choose among alternatives quickly and accurately.
• Must be effective at handling problems in the workplace and solving issues as necessary.
• Must assimilate complex information from disparate sources and adjust to needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all hotel purchasing across departments including Food, Beverage and Controllable costs.
• Maintains approved vendor lists to ensure quality and value.
• Monitors inventories, analyzes consumption, and supports month-end inventory processes.
• Verifies invoices and ensures purchase specifications match received goods.
• Uses BirchStreet, Coupa and POS to support procurement and reporting.
