Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced procurement professional to supervise the end-to-end purchasing of materials, parts, services and equipment under government or commercial contracts.

You will lead bidder conferences, price analyses and negotiations, coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Programs, ensure policy compliance, and drive supplier performance and change management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline.
• Nine or more years of progressive experience interpreting, awarding and administering contractual agreements.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR, FAR supplements, and the UCC.
• Coordinate inter-organizational activities and negotiate complex purchases.
• Experience with materials requirements planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the process of procuring materials, parts, components, services, and equipment under government or commercial contract(s).
• Act as primary contact for purchasing activities with management and internal stakeholders; represent the company with customers and suppliers.
• Support production schedules by assisting in planning activities and monitoring buys.
• Coordinate and review confidentiality agreements, price analyses, and other documentation for conformance to objectives.
• Lead and participate in supplier quotes, proposals, and price negotiations; provide documentation to the proposal team.
