Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline.
• Nine+ years of experience interpreting, awarding and administering contractual agreements.
• Experience with supply chain management concepts and FAR/UCC knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate inter-organizational activities and propose solutions.
• Ability to document, investigate, advise and explain complex issues to staff and suppliers.
• Experience negotiating major complex purchases and subcontracts; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve purchase orders and agreements; negotiate and award POs and subcontracts.
• Establish and monitor compliance with purchasing policies and regulations.
• Assign tasks, review work, and guide staff to meet timelines.
• Coordinate quotes and proposals; analyze pricing for subcontracts and supplier bids.
• Support production schedules by assisting in planning and monitoring buys.
• Coordinate supplier evaluations and pre-award surveys.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including government and customer audits.
• Act as primary contact for purchasing activities and issues; represent the company when needed.
• Stay current on best practices in supply chain and materials management.
• Participate in planning and development of human resources to ensure talent availability.
