Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a procurement professional to purchase parts, materials, equipment, and services for contracts and internal needs.

You will review quotations, select suppliers, and negotiate terms while ensuring compliance with FAR and company policies. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of progressive purchasing experience, with strong communication and supplier-management skills and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline with 3+ years of progressive professional purchasing experience.
• Understanding of purchasing concepts and FAR/government regulations; ability to apply them.
• Customer focused with strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple work phases.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Reviews quotations, selects suppliers, and negotiates prices and terms.
• Coordinates procurements to meet purchase dates and documents supporting materials.
• Maintains relationships with internal customers and suppliers and manages delivery performance.
