Job summary

Diamondback Airboats, LLC seeks a Purchaser to manage daily purchasing using forecast and MRP. You will coordinate with vendors, determine quantities, and monitor demand while supporting inventory control and supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Purchaser/Buyer experience and 1 year in inventory management, with strong communication, negotiation, and planning skills; MS Office and MRP proficiency required; QuickBooks a plus. First shift in Florida.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Purchaser/Buyer.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MRP software; QuickBooks is a plus.
• Excellent foresight and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily purchasing activities using the forecast and MRP.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
• Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments.
• Attend weekly project meetings and maintain purchase orders/backorders.
• Create new items in QuickBooks and ensure quality standards.
