Qualifications

• At least 10 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in non-inventory and MRO purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to deliver cost savings and improve supplier performance.
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, terms, and controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and purchase order management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all non-inventory and MRO purchases aligned to business needs and cost objectives.
• Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Build supplier relationships and monitor performance; address delays and quality issues.
• Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation, and purchasing efficiencies.
• Define requirements with internal teams and prioritize critical needs.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and ensure clear processes and approvals.
• Create POs and enter data accurately; update due dates and follow up on orders.
• Communicate supply risks and coordinate solutions to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate with receiving and accounting to resolve order/invoice discrepancies.
