Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher inAccounting/Finance/BA/PA with 5+ years finance exp.
• OR Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/BA/PA with 7+ years finance exp.
• 2+ years of managerial exp in finance.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, coordinates, and monitors budget activities.
• Forms, presents, implements, monitors and reviews the budget.
• Directs the long-term capital plan with the Assistant Finance Director.
• Oversees purchasing and procurement for compliance.
• Assists in approving purchase orders and monitoring GL accounts.
• Develops training materials and trains staff on policies and software.
• Monitors grants and financial system reports for errors.
• Recommends improvements to budgeting processes and controls.
• Keeps leadership informed on progress and issues.
