Job summary

Village Center Community Development District is seeking a Procurement Agent to join the Purchasing team in The Villages, FL. This role manages the full lifecycle of formal solicitations, develops documentation, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local procurement laws.

The incumbent will oversee ITB/RFP/RFQ/ITQ processes, coordinate with departments on scope, and support contract formation and documentation in a dynamic hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, public administration, accounting or related discipline or related procurement experience.
• 3-5 years Florida municipal, county and/or state purchasing department/contracts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers solicitations from initiation through award, including ITB/RFP/RFQ/ITQ.
• Prepares and issues formal solicitation documents ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Coordinates with End Using Departments to define scope and terms.
• Maintains procurement files and ensures compliance with regulations.
