Corestaff Services in Maryland seeks a Senior Buyer / Contract Specialist to lead complex, high-dollar procurements in support of a university system. You will ensure compliance with Maryland procurement law and USM requirements while advising campus stakeholders.

You will manage end-to-end solicitations, coordinate evaluation committees, negotiate with vendors, and oversee contract closeout and amendments. Strong knowledge of RFPs/IFBs and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, purchasing, contracting, or contract administration.
• Experience conducting formal competitive public procurements (RFPs and IFBs).

Aufgaben

• Develop, administer, and manage formal solicitations including RFPs, IFBs, RFQs, sole source, and emergency procurements.
• Manage procurements across categories such as IT, professional services, facilities maintenance, construction, and commodities.
• Coordinate evaluation committees to ensure fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate vendor responses, negotiate, issue award recommendations, and process purchase orders, renewals, and change orders.
• Administer contracts from implementation through performance management, amendment, and closeout.
• Review vendor deliverables to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Resolve vendor claims and disputes through professional negotiation.
