City of Alexandria is seeking a Capital Projects Manager to oversee the development and execution of Capital Improvement Projects and Capital Facilities Maintenance Projects. You will manage scopes of work, design documents, cost estimates, schedules, and QAQC reviews, coordinating with multiple departments and external partners.

The role requires a strong background in architectural/engineering project management, procurement processes, and leadership to guide teams through complex renovations

Qualifikationen

• Four-year college degree in architecture or engineering program.
• Master’s degree in architecture or engineering with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of public procurement processes and LEED preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee development and execution of CIP and CFMP projects.
• Lead scopes, design drawings, specs, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Coordinate with agencies, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Monitor QA/QC reviews and change orders for CIP projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and life safety standards.
• Manage budgets and contract administration across projects.
