WVU Medicine seeks a Provider Compensation Analyst to join our finance team in supporting provider compensation planning and revenue cycle analysis. You will coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of compensation plans and work with hospital leadership to ensure accurate and timely payments.

Required: bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance and at least three years of accounting/finance experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance is required.
• Three (3) years of accounting/finance related experience are required.
• CPA certification and a Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate provider performance and compensation analysis and reporting with clinical and hospital leadership.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for non-academic provider practice entities and compare against targets.
• Maintain physician compensation and contract management software for SMG.
• Monitor total compensation payments to ensure adherence to compensation plans and FMV standards and report variances to leadership.
• Analyze revenue cycle performance and identify opportunities for improvement and margin enhancement; report to Finance and Provider Practice leadership.
• Direct the payment processes for Medical Directorships, Call Pay, and other non-productivity terms.
• Support financial analysis for new services, provider compensation rates, and long-term strategic initiatives; leverage Inflow or similar tools.
• Develop and monitor physician compensation models, including incentives, with Finance and Provider Practice Leadership.
• Conduct historical and projected analyses related to non-academic practices and services.
• Oversee maintenance of physician compensation plans and related productivity reports.
• Collaborate with Hospital Finance & Reimbursement on large-scale financial projections for Provider Practices.
• Be a key member of the SMG Administration team and provide recommendations on compensation model upgrades.
