Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced professional to support the THAAD New Business team, focusing on proposal strategies and development for future efforts and contracts with the U.S. Government.

This role covers the full acquisition life cycle, from pre-coordination to negotiation and proposal estimates. You will work with Proposal Managers across THAAD contracts to translate program needs into defined contractual projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) process and evaluation or equivalent parallel experience.
• Experience as an interface or representative to customers/partners.
• Ability to acquire a Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Stakeholders to develop inputs for proposals
• Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using genBOE and BOEPro for proposal submittals
• Understand and communicate Technical Baselines, Task Instructions, and Requests for Proposal requirements
• Effectively plan and support technical and schedule requirements while coordinating with multi-functional teams across multiple LM sites in a dynamic and multifaceted environment
• Develop and present summary and status details to Senior Leadership
• Efficiently manage several ongoing projects serving as a liaison between the technical, acquisition, program teams and stakeholders
• Maintain well-organized proposal databases and documents
• Travel as needed to support the program needs
