Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join the West Water Marketing Team in a hybrid role, aligned with pursuits across multiple California offices as well as Denver. You will collaborate with the West Region BD and operations teams to prepare EOIs, RFQs, RFPs and pre-qualifications.

Responsibilities include leading small-to-medium proposals, coordinating templates and content, and guiding entry-level staff. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork and process improvement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• 2 years of experience and/or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with large proposals and lead small to medium proposals across regions or lines.
• Coordinate content and information for qualifications and proposals including schedules and templates.
• Provide leadership for document design and act as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections.
• May facilitate color review and apply lessons learned to proposals.
• Manage implementation of proposal revisions based on review direction.
• Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with DOA guidelines.
• Complete internal debriefs and review client feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Liaise with business line, operations, technical and BD teams to support marketing information.
• Provide guidance to entry level proposal team members.
• Perform a self-check prior to submission.
