Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Proposal Director to lead end-to-end proposal development across the company’s portfolio, ensuring timely, compliant, and competitive responses to RFPs/RFQs. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to reflect the Transdev brand and maintain rigorous compliance in a deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate will manage multiple pursuits, drive content development and submission, and mentor a team of Proposal Managers and Coordinators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience leading complex proposal development efforts.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing proposal teams.
• Experience responding to large, complex RFPs in transportation, public sector, infrastructure, government services, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of competitive procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle from qualification through submission.
• Develop and manage schedules, work plans, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery of all proposal activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, operations leaders, finance, legal, risk, safety, and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee content development, editing, proofreading, and quality control processes, including initial proposal submittal and any subsequent submittals.
• Coordinate the development of proposal graphics that adhere to branding policies and templates.
• Lead proposal review cycles and ensure messaging communicates value proposition and branding.
• Mentor and develop Proposal Managers and Proposal Coordinators.
• Identify process improvements and best practices across the proposal function.
