Job summary

GFT seeks a Proposal Manager to drive strategic growth across Florida and beyond, leading the development of compelling, compliant proposals for Transportation, Construction Services, and Buildings & Places markets. Remote-first with proximity to Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, or Jacksonville, offering a blend of leadership, capture support and client service excellence.

You will mentor junior staff, shape win themes, translate technical input into persuasive messaging, and ensure RFP compliance

Qualifications

• Normally, a 4-year degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or applicable field - or comparable experience - is required.
• 8 years of practical working experience preferred.
• Experience leading proposals and interviews.
• Knowledge of BD & marketing processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture planning activities with the capture manager/team, kickoff and coordinate win-theme development.
• Manage major and priority-level pursuits as Proposal Manager with compliance oversight.
• Write and edit executive summaries and non-technical sections aligning to client goals.
• Develop interview strategy and materials; coordinate with designers for on-brand delivery.
• Support CST with pipeline analytics, client data, and strategic insights.
• Collaborate with MarCom on BD & M activities and coordinate campaigns.
• Train and mentor junior BD staff and contribute to team development.
