Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the development of complex proposals and presentations for North American projects. The role spans capture planning through final, tailored responses to RFPs/RFQs, including client interviews and presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience developing strategic submissions in the AEC industry.
• Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills, including editing and proofreading.
• Strong ability to manage and motivate others, stimulating creativity.
• Effective communication with technical staff and management in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent time and project management skills in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal strategy and develop creative, targeted submissions across all practices.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and SMEs to build capture plans, win strategies, and client value propositions.
• Facilitate collaboration with technical staff for compliant and compelling responses.
• Develop RFI content with teaming partners and customize sections of proposals.
• Lead proposal meetings, reviews, and ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Storyboard content plans and develop graphics/layout per brand standards.
