Mott MacDonald in the United States seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to lead complex NA proposals and presentations, driving capture planning and win strategies. You will coordinate with PMs, SMEs, and partners to craft compliant, compelling responses to RFPs/RFQs and client interviews.

The role requires exceptional leadership, proposal writing guidance, and an ability to customize all sections while maintaining brand standards. Hybrid in-office work with collaborative teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic submissions within the AEC industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills.
• Strong people management and teamwork abilities.
• Effective communication with technical staff and management.
• Excellent time and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse teams.
• Goal-oriented with focus on improving proposal win rate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal strategy and development of targeted proposals across practices.
• Coordinate capture planning and win strategies with SMEs and PMs.
• Develop compelling messages, differentiators, and value propositions.
• Customize all proposal sections, including resumes and project descriptions.
• Lead proposal meetings, reviews, and related activities.
• Review drafts for responsiveness, compliance, and quality.
• Build relationships with teaming partners for proposal needs.
• Storyboard content plans and align graphics with brand standards.
• Support pursuits and strategic pursuit processes.
