Job summary

PLUG POWER INC. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to contribute to the bids and proposals team. You will ensure RFPs and quotation documents are produced professionally and timely, coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders and driving best practices in proposal development.

The role requires strong writing, project management, and layout skills, with 3+ years in a related field. This full-time position offers benefits and growth opportunities within a manufacturing/energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required.
• 3+ years in a commercial function; manufacturing or energy experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM/Salesforce or proposal/project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant, professional proposals within defined timeframes.
• Coordinate, review, and edit inputs from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Implement scalable workflows, templates, and tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Guide sales teams on persuasive writing and proposal best practices; assist presenting offers.
• Review commercial Terms and Conditions with counsel as needed.
• Manage proposal templates in line with company branding.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
